Elite ACCESS Intraday - Maximum Loss Limit - Evaluation Phase (EOD)

Elite ACCESS Intraday – Maximum Loss Limit (MLL) (EOD)

The Maximum Loss Limit (MLL) defines the overall maximum loss your account can sustain before a permanent hard breach occurs.

Note: For Elite ACCESS Intraday, this End-of-Day (EOD) Trailing Drawdown model applies only during the Evaluation (Challenge) Phase. Once you transition to the Funded Phase, the account utilizes an Intraday Trailing Drawdown.

Evaluation Phase Drawdown (EOD)

During the evaluation phase, the Maximum Loss Limit is calculated strictly on an End-of-Day (EOD) trailing basis.

Maximum Loss Limit by Account Size

Account Size

Evaluation MLL (EOD)

$25,000

$1,000

$50,000

$2,000

$100,000

$3,000

$150,000

$4,000

How EOD Trailing Drawdown Works (Evaluation Only)

  • Calculated at Market Close: The drawdown level updates based on your closed account balance at the end of the trading day (5 PM EST / Market Close).

  • Does Not Trail Intraday: Equity spikes during active trading will not raise your drawdown limit mid-session.

  • Trails Up, Never Down: As your end-of-day balance reaches new highs, your trailing stop level moves up accordingly.

  • Drawdown Lock: Once your account balance reaches the threshold to lock drawdown (drawdown in profits + $100), the MLL stops trailing and remains fixed at starting balance + $100.

When Does the Drawdown Lock?

Drawdown Lock: Once your highest End of Day Balance reaches the threshold to lock drawdown. (drawdown in profits + $100), the MLL stops trailing and remains fixed at starting balance + $100. From that point forward, further account growth no longer raises the breach level.

An example $50,000 Account - This account has $2,000 drawdown.
When your Highest End of Day Balance reaches at least $52,100 (drawdown + $100)
Result: Your Maximum Loss Limit locks at $50,100 and does not trail up anymore.

Drawdown Lock Level

Once you reach the threshold, the trailing drawdown (MLL) locks at Starting Balance + $100:

Account Size

Maximum Loss Limit Locks at

$25K

$25,100

$50K

$50,100

$100K

$100,100

$150K

$150,100

After this point:

  • The drawdown (MLL) no longer trails upward, even if your Highest End of Day Balance grows.

  • Your account cannot fall below this locked level.

Example (Evaluation Phase)

On a $50,000 Evaluation Account:

  • Starting MLL Threshold: $48,000 ($50,000 – $2,000 drawdown).

  • Day 1: If you end the day at $51,500, your new MLL threshold for the next day becomes $49,500 ($51,500 – $2,000).

What Happens When Funded?

When you pass the evaluation and transition to a funded Elite ACCESS Intraday account:

  • The drawdown model switches from End-of-Day (EOD) to Intraday Trailing Drawdown.

  • An active Daily Loss Limit (DLL) also applies during the funded phase.

Rule Violations

If your account balance closes at or drops below your Maximum Loss Limit threshold during the evaluation phase:

  • The account will be permanently breached.

  • Trading access will be disabled.

  • A reset ($35) is required to re-attempt the evaluation phase.

Summary

  • Evaluation Phase: Uses EOD Trailing Drawdown (updates only at market close).

  • Funded Phase: Switches to Intraday Trailing Drawdown + Daily Loss Limit.

  • Hard Breach: Hitting or dropping below the MLL results in account termination.
