How to Connect Your Tradovate Account to TradingView

⚠️ Before Anything Else — Complete Your Tradovate Market Data Certification

If this is your first Tradovate account with Top One Futures, you must log into Tradovate and sign the Market Data Subscriber Certification before attempting to connect to TradingView.

  • This only needs to be done one time when you first use Tradovate with us.

  • You do not need to repeat this process for new accounts.

If you have not completed this step yet, please follow the instructions in this article: 👉 Getting Started: Your First Tradovate Account with Top One Futures

Once this is signed, you can proceed with the steps below.

Connecting to TradingView: Step-by-Step

  • Open the Trading Panel Once you're logged in, open a chart. At the bottom of the screen, click on the "Trading Panel" tab.

  • Select Tradovate In the panel, scroll through the list of brokers until you see Tradovate. Click on it to bring up the login prompt.

  • Find Your Tradovate Credentials To connect, you will need your specific Top One Futures Tradovate credentials (these are different from your dashboard login).

  1. Click Accounts in the left hand menu.

  2. Find your account in the list. If you have several accounts, you can use the filters at the top (All Accounts, All Sizes, All Phases, and the Hide Failed toggle) to narrow it down.

  3. Click on the account you want to access.

  4. Click Credentials.

This will open a window showing:

  • Username

  • Password

  • Platform

These credentials belong to your Tradovate/NinjaTrader user profile, and all of your Tradovate/NinjaTrader-based Top One Futures accounts will always be linked under this same login.

  • Connect Back in TradingView, select the "Demo" environment. Enter the Username and Password you just found in your dashboard, and click "Connect."
