The max drawdown (MLL) is the most your account can lose before it is permanently breached. On X-Daily Spark it is $2,000, trailing on an end of day (EOD) basis, on both the evaluation and the funded account.
Max drawdown by stage
Stage | Max drawdown | Type |
Evaluation | $2,000 | EOD trailing (static with add-on) |
Funded | $2,000 | EOD trailing, locks at $50,100 |
How EOD trailing works
The drawdown does not trail intraday.
It updates after the trading day closes, based on your end of day balance.
It moves up when you close the day at a new high balance. It never moves down.
Example
Step | Amount |
Starting balance | $50,000 |
Initial breach level | $48,000 |
You close the day at | $51,000 |
New breach level | $49,000 |
You close the day at $52,100 or higher (funded) | Breach level locks at $50,100 |
Static evaluation drawdown add-on
For +$15 at checkout, your evaluation drawdown becomes static. Your breach level stays at $48,000 for the whole evaluation and does not trail.
What happens if you hit it
If your account closes at or below the breach level, it is permanently breached. Funded accounts cannot be reset. To trade X-Daily Spark again, buy a new evaluation ($39) and pay the activation fee ($189) when you pass.
Please note: there are no warnings when the max drawdown is hit.
