The 15% Consistency Rule is a key performance metric we use to ensure our funded traders are earning profits through a stable and consistent strategy, rather than from a single "lucky" or high-risk trading day.
We are looking to partner with traders who can demonstrate steady, long-term profitability. This rule is designed to reward that skill.
The Rule & How It's Calculated
The rule is simple: Your single best trading day's profit cannot account for more than 15% of your total accumulated profit.
At the moment you request a payout, we use the following formula to check your score:
Your Consistency Score = (Best Day's Profit Γ· Total Profit) x 100
To be eligible for a payout, your Consistency Score must be 15% or less.
Payout Eligibility Examples
Let's assume you are on an account with a $3,000 profit target.
Scenario 1: PASS
You reach a Total Profit of $3,000.
You check your trading log, and your Best Day's Profit was $400.
Calculation: ($400 Γ· $3,000) * 100 = 13.3%
Result: β PASS. Your score of 13.3% is below the 15% limit, and you are eligible for a payout (assuming all other rules are met).
Scenario 2: FAIL
You reach a Total Profit of $3,000.
You check your trading log, and your Best Day's Profit was $2,000.
Calculation: ($2,000 Γ· $3,000) * 100 = 66.7%
Result: β FAIL. Your score of 66.7% is much higher than the 15% limit. Your payout request will be denied until your score is fixed.
"I Failed! How Do I Fix My High Score?
If your score is too high, you don't need to panic or reset your account. The solution is simply to continue trading profitably to increase your "Total Profit" denominator.
Your one big day has set a new, higher profit target for you. To find your new target, use this formula:
Your New Target Profit = (Your Best Day's Profit Γ· 0.15)
Using Scenario 2 as our example:
Your Best Day's Profit: $2,000
New Target Calculation: $2,000 Γ· 0.15 = $13,333.33
This means you must now grow your account's Total Profit to $13,333.33 to bring your score down to 15%. (This is, of course, assuming you do not have another, even larger winning day while working toward this new target).
Key Things to Remember
It's a Payout Rule: This rule does not cause a breach. It is only checked when you request a withdrawal.
It Encourages Longevity: The best way to pass is to aim for smaller, consistent daily wins rather than trying to hit your entire target in one or two days.
It Resets: The Consistency Score calculation resets to zero after every successful payout.
