X-Ultra – Daily Loss Limit (DLL)

The maximum you can lose in one trading day, and why it is a hard breach on X-Ultra.

The Daily Loss Limit (DLL) is the maximum amount you can lose in a single trading day. On X-Ultra it applies to both the evaluation and the funded account.

Hard breach: on X-Ultra, reaching the DLL fails the account. This is different from our other plans, where the DLL only pauses your account for the rest of the day.

Limits per account

Account size

Daily Loss Limit

$50,000

$1,000

$100,000

$1,500

$150,000

$2,000

Calculation & reset

The DLL is calculated from your starting balance for the day. It resets every trading day (6:00 PM ET) using your updated account balance.

What counts

  • Closed losses

  • Open (floating) losses

  • Commissions and fees

Example ($100,000 account): You start the day at $102,000. If your balance including open positions and fees drops to $100,500 ($1,500 loss) during that day, the account fails.
